Fostering Your Community
b is for bonnie design + the illume retreat
Hello, lovely! My name is Bonnie – I’m a designer, brand stylist, writer, wife and pet parent to the most rambunctious golden retriever this side of the Mason-Dixon. I’m a proud Baylor Bear, an unashamed coffee enthusiast and I am incredibly passionate about choosing joy every day. I share life with my handsome husband in our college town of Waco, TX, and our little family of three believes strongly in giving grace freely, loving other fiercely, and pursuing joy without abandon.
My heart is centered around the desire to encourage and inspire through design, creating products and experiences that draw people in to what matters most in life. I believe in intentional and joyful living, handwritten thank you notes and loving people well. Through custom branding services and small business mentoring, I help creative entrepreneurs craft brands that authentically reflect the core of their businesses, which is simply a dream come true! The illume retreat was born out of my desire to create a space for creatives to step away from the hustle and bustle in order to dig deep into what it means to build an intentional, heartfelt business. I’m thrilled to get to spend three full days this April with you, and already can’t wait to hug you!
Creating a Brand that Reflects Your Heart
Throughout our 2017 retreat, we’ll be diving deep into what it means to create from a place of truth, as well as what that individual truth looks like to you! But how can you take this newfound knowledge and integrate it into your brand? Together, we’ll explore the pillars of a strong brand, and how you can integrate the heart, personality and authenticity that represents your work well. We’ll go much deeper than color palettes and font pairings, instead focusing on the specifics of creating a brand that serves as an authentic reflection of your core values, mission and truth!
We are honored to have these talented, tenacious women joining us for our April illume retreat! Through creative breakouts, small groups, and hands-on sessions, these women will be bringing so much wisdom, energy and love to the table.
